Orlando, FL - Bob Saget, the man known for his time as Danny Tanner on "Full House" and as the host of "America’s Funniest Home Videos," has died at the age of 65.

A report from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office says he was found dead in a hotel room on Sunday (Jan. 9) after a call was made about an unresponsive man at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. Investigators said no signs of drug use or foul play were observed at the scene.

Saget was in Florida to kick off his “I Don’t Do Negative Comedy Tour,” and had performed in Orlando and Ponte Vedra Beach on Friday and Saturday. The comedian was set to perform in West Palm Beach on January 28 and 29.

"I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it," said Saget in his last post on Instagram.

Saget’s fellow co-stars and friends have since taken to social media to comment on his passing.

“I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby,” wrote John Stamos, who co-starred with Saget as Uncle Jesse on "Full House".

Comedian Patton Oswalt posted on Twitter and said Saget had interviewed him in October as part of an upcoming documentary.

“He was sharp and dark and funny as always and we were gonna catch up over coffee when he was done editing and now I’m crying,” said Oswalt.

“"He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter,” said Saget’s family in a statement about his death. "Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world."

Saget leaves behind his wife, journalist Kelly Rizzo, and three daughters: Aubrey, Lara and Jennifer.
