Jacksonville, FL - A Flagler County man who was once arrested for trading a minor drugs, alcohol and money for sex now faces a federal indictment.

Today (March 22nd), United States Attorney Maria Chapa Lopez announced that a grand jury officially indicted 47-year-old Sean Patrick Farrelly for child sex trafficking.

Lopez says that between approximately March 2018 and February 2019, Farrelly recruited, enticed, transported, obtained, maintained, patronized, and solicited a girl under age of 18 years old to engage in a commercial sex act.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, who Farrelly has had a run in with before.

Last month (February 20th), Farrelly was arrested after a family found out that he had been giving their daughter drugs, alcohol and money for sex.

If convicted, Farrelly faces a mandatory 10 years, and up to life, in federal prison.
