Police Identify & File Warrant Against Suspect In Ormond Beating

Suspect now wanted on a $25,000 felony batter warrant

Ormond Beach, FL - Since May 30th, police have been on the hunt for whoever was responsible for brutally attacking a woman near the Ormond Garage.

Now a new report released by the Ormond Beach Police Department says police have identified the suspect as 32-year-old John William Brandone, who is now wanted on a felony battery warrant with a bond of $25,000.

Footage of Brandone's attack was originally released the following day on Facebook by Kevin Wakefield. Wakefield is the owner of the Ormond Garage, which is adjacent to the lot where the attack took place.

According to police, Brandone resides in the Port Orange area, but he has not been seen around his residence. A 2005 silver Honda Civic, Florida tag GTA M47 is also registered to Brandone.

If anyone finds Brandone, police ask that you do not approach him. Instead, contact the Ormond Beach Police Department, the Volusia Sheriff's Office or your nearest agency.
