Florida Highway Patrol troopers are working to track down an unidentified man who's said to have fired five shots at another vehicle in a road rage incident on I-4 in Deltona this week. The incident occurred Monday evening shortly after 9:00 pm.

According to initial reports on the incident, the confrontation occurred between mile markers 105 and 108 on eastbound I-4 in Deltona. The victim was a 62-year-old man, who pulled into a gas station to check the damage to his car after the exchange concluded. There, he discovered five bullet holes in the right-rear side of his vehicle. Luckily, the man was not injured.

FHP troopers still don't have an identification for the alleged road rage shooter, but they do have something of a description: the shooter is said to be a Hispanic male in his mid-to-late 20's with long, curly, black hair. Though leads are scarce, FHP is hoping members of the community will be able to come forward with information that leads to an arrest.

Those who may be able to assist the FHP investigation are asked to call the agency at (407) 737-2213, or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
